Prospect League adds former team, new team

Sep. 21—The Prospect League voted Thursday to admit the Dubois County Bombers and Full Count Rhythm to the wood-bat baseball league for the 2024 season.

The two teams had been members of the Ohio Valley League and will replace the West Virginia Miners and the Quincy Gems on the league roster.

The Bombers were Prospect League members from 2005 through 2012 and play in historic League Stadium in Huntingburg, a stadium featured in the movies "A League of Their Own" and "Soul of the Game."

The Rhythm was founded in 2020 and has competed in the Ohio Valley League since then. The team plays in Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville, Tenn., 18 miles from Nashville.
