Is the pricetag on free agent Dre’Mont Jones too steep to pay?

NFL free agency starts next week and the Cleveland Browns need to find some help for the defensive line. One possible target is former Ohio State (and likely former Denver Broncos) defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones. Jones makes sense for the team as a player that can play at a high level both inside and outside on the defensive line.

However, the reports out of Denver are that Jones asking price will be “close to 19.7 million dollar franchise tag number”. With the team needing to add multiple players this number might not make sense. If the team is to give a contract with that number they may target a bigger-name, and more productive player, like Javon Hargrave or DeForest Buckner.
