First Team

Griffin Crain
Griffin Crain

Griffin Crain, Hendricken

Forward, Senior

Crain graduates with one of the most successful Hendricken hockey classes of all time. The Hawks won their third title in a row this winter. In the regular season, he led Division I in points with 38 (19 goals, 19 assists) and had three scores in the playoffs. Crain was a First-Team All-State forward last year and Second-Team defenseman as a sophomore.

Aidan Forcier

Aidan Forcier, Prout

Forward, Junior

Forcier’s standout winter guided Prout to the top seed in the Division I playoffs. The forward managed 19 goals and 20 assists, good for second in the division. He topped his point total of last year with goals alone this season in an impressive third-year jump.

Steve Rodrigues
Steve Rodrigues

Steve Rodrigues, Burrillville

Forward, Senior

Burrillville hadn’t reached the state championship since the 1975-76 winter until making the final game this season. And Rodrigues is a big reason why. The senior amassed a team-leading 20 goals, including five in the playoffs, to pace the Broncos.

Paul Boghosian
Paul Boghosian

Paul Boghosian, La Salle

Defense, Senior

La Salle was on the verge of a championship appearance before falling to Hendricken in overtime in the Frozen Four. La Salle, led by Boghosian, surrendered just 25 goals and was plus-57 in goal differential. The blueliner tallied two goals and eight assists.

Cameron Force
Cameron Force

Cameron Force, Burrillville

Defense, Junior

The clutch trait isn’t something that can be taught. Either you have it or you don’t, and Force has it. The junior scored the game-winner in the Frozen Four against Prout for a berth in the championship game. In total, the defenseman scored seven goals and handed out 13 assists in the regular season. In the playoffs, he added a pair of scores and two helpers.
