PREP ROUNDUP: Fairview blasts 3 homers in 15-6 win over Vinemont

Mar. 14—Fairview's softball team slugged three home runs in a 15-6 road victory against Vinemont on Thursday night.

Allison Davis hit a two-run bomb in the third inning before Ayda Payne (3-run homer) and Addison Phillips (solo homer) broke the game open for the Aggies (8-3) in the fifth frame with back-to-back blasts.

Payne also pitched five scoreless innings (three hits and six strikeouts) in the circle.

West Point's varsity girls golf team won the Fairview Invitational at Cross Creek Golf Course on Thursday.

Brooklyn Sutter (78), Charli Aris (84) and Allie Freeman (87) each finished inside the Top 6 as the Warriors compiled a team total of 249.
