PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: North Vermillion defeats Westville
Nov. 16—WESTVILLE — The North Vermillion girls basketball team outscored Westville 33-7 in the second half as the Falcons won 54-23 on Thursday.
Lauren Ellis led the Falcons with 24 points, with 13 points in the fourth quarter, while Braxtyn Dunham had 14 points and Cadence Dunham added six points.
Gwen Bennett and Madison Duke each had five points for the Tigers, who were only down 21-16 at halftime, while Jazmyn Bennett, Hadley Jones and Aubrie Jenkins each had three.
The Tigers are 1-1 and will play Tri-County in the Comet Classic on Saturday.
