P.K. Subban takes Fourth of July bathing suit tradition to next level
On a day rich with tradition, P.K. Subban appears to be successfully building one of his own.
The Fourth of July is a great time for Americans to proudly wear their red, white and blues, and even though he’s Canadian, Subban once again got in on the fun in 2019.
The newly-acquired Devils defenceman started what looks to have become an annual tradition last year when he donned a USA-themed bathing suit that we can only assume belonged to his girlfriend, former professional skier Lindsey Vonn.
It was a lovely striped one-piece number with USA written proudly on the front, which Vonn — a native of St. Paul, Minnesota — also wore in order for the couple to share a “who wore it best” post on Instagram.
That was nothing compared to what Subban had planned for 2019, though.
Wearing the colours of his new team, P.K. begins his video shoutout by wishing a happy Fourth of July to every American celebrating. But before long, the 2013 Norris trophy winner rips off his Devils t-shirt to reveal a patriotic two-piece bikini — which, again, probably belongs to Lindsey — underneath before jumping into the pool.

It may not be the same as fireworks or a massive barbecue with friends and family, but Subban appears to be quite content with his Independence Day celly.
