Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 15 game

The Indianapolis Colts (7-6) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) at Lucas Oil Stadium in one of three Week 15 games on Saturday with both teams clinging to playoff hopes.

The Steelers are riding a two-game losing streak after firing offensive coordinator Matt Canada. They dropped last week's game 21-18 at home against the lowly New England Patriots. Fans were chanting for third-string quarterback Mason Rudolph as Mitch Trubisky struggled to fill in for an injured Kenny Pickett. After the game, head coach Mike Tomlin called out wide receiver George Pickens for showing his frustration on the field and yelling at teammates on the bench.

The Colts snapped a four-game win streak with a 34-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Gardner Minshew went 26-of-39 for 240 yards and threw a touchdown and an interception. Star running back Jonathan Taylor was out after undergoing thumb surgery and will most likely miss this matchup. In his absence, Indianapolis notched 46 yards on the ground between three different ball carriers.

Will the Steelers be able to compose themselves for a road win? Or will the Colts bounce back?

Lorenzo Reyes: Colts 23, Steelers 16

Pittsburgh is in the middle of a miserable stretch. Two consecutive losses to teams that came into the games eight games under .500 is a massive concern. With Kenny Pickett sidelined again, it’s just not a reliable play to back the Steelers here. While the Colts fell well short in their Week 14 loss against the Bengals, I think this could be an excellent bounce-back spot.

Tyler Dragon: Colts 21, Steelers 17

The Steelers lost two games in a row to teams well below .500. Now Mike Tomlin and company travel to Indy to play a Colts team that’s right behind them at No. 7 in the AFC playoff standings. Can Mitch Trubisky and the Steelers offense manufacture enough points to win? Based on recent history, probably not.

Safid Deen: Colts 23, Steelers 17

This one is an easy pick for me: Give me Gardner Minshew over Mitch Trubisky. Even with T.J. Watt baring down defensively.

Victoria Hernandez: Colts 23, Steelers 17

The Steelers are all over the place right now and their frustrations were on full display last week. The Colts haven’t been able to find a ton of consistency with Jonathan Taylor in and out, but have more going for them than Pittsburgh at this point.

Jordan Mendoza: Colts 17, Steelers 14

The Pittsburgh offense was a mess against the Patriots and the defense surprisingly got exposed. Indianapolis has a solid offense that could score, but the question will be whether the defense can hold down the Steelers' offense. Indianapolis gets the close victory.
