Pickleball fever taking over Arizona: Where can you play the game in metro Phoenix?
Pickleball continues to grow throughout the nation, and Arizona is no exception, with new courts seemingly being constructed daily throughout the Valley and state.
Pickleball fever has taken hold of Arizona.
There are now several places throughout metro Phoenix where you can play indoors, but there are also private and public courts throughout the area.
Basically, you have options for where you can play.
Here's a look at some places you can take your pickleball game to the next level in Arizona, from public courts to facilities and clubs.
Pickleball facilities and clubs
In Chandler, this venue has 15 indoor courts as well as ball feeder machines, locker rooms and a snack bar.

This Gilbert venue has six indoor courts and offers a wide array of tournaments and classes.

This site has two air-conditioned courts and a food and beverage license and offers to host private events.

Located at Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, this venue has multiple outdoor and indoor courts, as well as food.

Public pickleball venues
Mesa Tennis and Pickleball Center
At Gene Autry Park, this facility has 21 outdoor courts that can be reserved or played on a walk-in basis.

This park is the only Gilbert park with Pickleball courts, but it has 16 of them open on a first-come, first-served basis.
