The Boston Celtics (16-19) hope to steal an unlikely win against one of the best teams in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns (27-7), on the last day of the 2021 calendar year. They should be a little healthier with Marcus Smart coming off of the injury report, and they will need all the help they can get to have a shot against the Suns.

If you happen to be looking for a way to watch the action live on cable television or an online streaming service, keep reading while we get you up to speed on everything you need to know about the game.

For Phoenix, DeAndre Ayton, Jae Crowder, JaVale McGee, and Abdel Nader are also scratches in the protocol, along with Frank Kaminsky (knee stress reaction), Dario Saric (ACL), and Ish Wainwright (lower back soreness).
