Phoenix Suns assistant coach Patrick Mutombo leaving for Milwaukee Bucks

Phoenix Suns assistant coach Patrick Mutombo won't be returning to the team next season to be on Frank Vogel's staff.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Thursday that Mutombo is joining the Milwaukee Bucks to work under their new head coach Adrian Griffin.

Mutombo came to Phoenix in June 2022 to join former coach Monty Williams' staff to be its bench coach.

Williams was fired on May 13, and replaced by Vogel on June 2.
