Penn State vs. Northwestern, Big Ten Tournament: Stream, injury report, broadcast info

After digging deep to score a big win in their Big Ten tournament opener, Penn State is quickly back in action on Friday to face the Northwestern Wildcats. Penn State advanced to the third Big Ten quarterfinals with a victory over Illinois on Thursday evening, overcoming a deficit in the second half to pull away with the win.

The win over Illinois is believed to be enough to get Penn State into the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament for the first time since 2011, but a win over Northwestern would certainly help lock things up for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State won the only regular-season meeting with Northwestern with a wild 68-65 overtime victory in Evanston in the next-to-last game of the regular season. Can the Nittany Lions knock off the tournament-bound Wildcats one more time to advance to the Big Ten semifinals?

Here is how to catch all of the action as Penn State faces Illinois on Friday. The full Big Ten tournament schedule and updated tracker can be found here.

Penn State vs. Northwestern injury report

Matthew OHaren-USA TODAY Sports

Penn State continues to be without forward [autotag]Caleb Dorsey[/autotag] due to an undisclosed injury that has been lingering throughout the season. There is no timetable for his return to the lineup, so Penn State will look to move on without him as long as necessary.

Northwestern enters the Big Ten tournament with two players out for the year in forward Luke Hunger (foot) and guard Julian Roper II (ankle). Both players underwent season-ending surgery.
