Patriots Twitter losing their minds as Mac Jones throws another pick-six

Throwing the ball to the other team is becoming a common theme for New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones.

After turning the ball over three times last week against the Dallas Cowboys, Jones was at it once again in Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, throwing a pick-six into the awaiting arms of Saints defensive back Tyrann Mathieu.

It’s a nightmare start to a game many called the most important in Jones’ career.

He was benched after last week’s turnover spree for backup quarterback Bailey Zappe. There was hope that game would light a fire under him for a strong bounce-back performance against the Saints. But so far, it’s just been more of the same from the former first-round draft pick out of Alabama.

It didn’t take long for the Zappe chants to start echoing throughout Gillette Stadium. Here’s what Patriots Twitter is saying about another pick-six from Jones.
