Panthers highlights: LB Frankie Luvu breaks out the ‘Peanut Punch’

It’s been six years (wow, six?!?!) since we’ve seen cornerback Charles Tillman play for the Carolina Panthers. That, however, doesn’t mean his impact can’t still be felt by the franchise.

Linebacker Frankie Luvu was feeling that big Tillman energy at the end of the first quarter against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. After a 9-yard catch by receiver Josh Oliver, Luvu broke out the ol’ “Peanut Punch” to force a fumble in the red zone.

The loose ball was recovered by safety Sean Chandler at the Carolina 12-yard line, halting an 11-play, 59-yard drive.

Luvu has shined all week through joint practices with Baltimore and carried that energy (his own and the big Tillman energy) onto the field tonight.
