Packers vs. Cowboys: Odds and how to watch NFL wild-card game Sunday

Two of the most storied franchises in NFL history will square off in the first round of the playoffs as the NFC's No. 2 seed, the Dallas Cowboys, host the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers.

The Packers needed a lot to go their way this season to sneak into the playoffs. They started the season 2-5, with many thinking the Jordan Love era at Lambeau was over before it began. Lo and behold, the team went 7-3 to end the season, taking down their bitter rivals the Chicago Bears in Week 18 to secure their Wild Card berth.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, were never worried about their spot in the playoffs. They'd been focused on winning the NFC East since the middle of the season. After a gruesome back and forth with the reigning NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles though, the Cowboys earned their second division title in three years.

Dallas' head coach, Mike McCarthy, spent 13 seasons as Green Bay's head coach, even winning a Super Bowl with the team in 2011. This will be his first time facing his former team in the playoffs. The last time these teams met up in the postseason, Green Bay was victorious 34-31 on a game-winning 51-yard field goal from Mason Crosby as time expired. These teams are 4-4 against one another all time.
