Packers hold steady at No. 26 in USA Today’s Week 11 power rankings

The Green Bay Packers lost for the fifth time in six games but still held steady at No. 26 overall in the USA Today NFL power rankings entering Week 11.

The 3-6 Packers missed too many opportunities and missed too many tackles during Sunday’s 23-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road.

The Steelers improved to 6-3 but actually dropped one spot from No. 11 to No. 12 following the one-score win.

The Packers have now ranked 20th or lower for six straight weeks.

Here’s the Packers blurb from Nate Davis:

After totaling 62 points in the season’s first two weeks, Green Bay hasn’t exceeded 20 in a game since.

The only teams below the Packers in the power rankings? The Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and New York Giants.

The Packers will now welcome the Los Angeles Chargers to Lambeau Field in Week 11. The Chargers lost to the Detroit Lions and fell to 4-5 last week but are currently the No. 15 overall team in the power rankings.

Are the Packers about to drop further? Playing Justin Herbert and the Chargers, the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in primetime over the next three weeks represents a daunting stretch for a team that has already lost to the Falcons, Raiders and Broncos, among others.
