TV INFO: How to watch 2022 NFL Draft first round on TV, live stream
1st Round, No. 22 overall | Quay Walker, LB, Georgia
Instant grade: B-plus
Analysis: Walker is a helluva athlete who showed flashes of really promising play alongside Nakobe Dean at Georgia. He'll need to trust his athleticism in space against tight ends and running backs, because he can get too handsy. But I like this for Green Bay.
1st Round, No. 28 overall | Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia
Instant grade: B-plus
Analysis: Wyatt was the workhorse of the Georgia defensive line, getting the benefit of the attention given to Jordan Davis. His quick hands and footwork gives a chance to be a Pro Bowl level player.
2nd Round, No. 34 overall (from Detroit via Minnesota) | Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State
Instant grade: A-minus
Analysis: It fits the mold of Packers receivers of late. Watson is lanky and fast, and can win one-on-one battles deep down the field. No matter what you think about how much of the route tree he will utilize, he will be a deep threat Day 1. Love this pick.
3rd Round, No. 92 overall | Sean Rhyan, OL, UCLA
Instant grade: B
Analysis: Rhyan has good balance and footwork, which means he could play as a rookie.
4th Round, No. 132 overall | Romeo Doubs, WR, Nevada
Instant grade: B
4th Round, No. 140 overall (compensatory | Zach Tom, OL, Wake Forest
Instant grade: B-plus
7th Round, No. 228 overall (from Chicago via Houston) | Tariq Carpenter, LB, Georgia Tech
Instant grade: B
7th Round, No. 234 overall (from Cleveland via Detroit and Denver) | Jonathan Ford, DL, Miami (Fla.)
Instant grade: C
7th Round, No. 249 overall | Rasheed Walker, OL, Penn State
Instant grade: B-plus
7th Round, No. 258 overall (compensatory) | Samori Toure, WR, Nebraska
Instant grade: C-plus
