OU baseball signs Cole Hansen, brother of Sooner softball star Kinzie Hansen

NORMAN — Cole Hansen, the younger brother of OU softball standout Kinzie Hansen, signed with the OU baseball team on Wednesday.

Cole Hansen is a 6-foot catcher/first baseman at Norco High in Norco, California. He recorded eight RBIs and two home runs on .295 hitting last season as a junior, and he committed to OU on Sept. 2, 2022.

Hansen's older sister, Kinzie, is a senior catcher for the OU softball team. She earned the 2023 Johnny Bench Award, which is given annually to the nation's top catcher.
