OTA attendance update: More veterans arrive for Week 3

It’s the third and final week of OTAs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and some more Bucs players have arrived as mandatory minicamp looms in the near future.

PewterReport reported that WR Mike Evans, CB Carlton Davis, C Ryan Jensen and RB Chase Edmonds have all reported to OTAs on Tuesday. Jensen is in a knee brace for his ACL tear in 2022 and is not participating in practice, and WR Deven Thompkins is also present and not participating. Names that have previously not been in attendance, like EDGE Shaq Barrett, LB Devin White and WR Russell Gage, are still not reporting for Week 3 of OTAs.

It should be noted that OTAs are optional and players not reporting for them isn’t uncommon due to a variety of factors — a player could have their own routine they like to do away from camp, they could be resting due to age or they could be in a contract dispute.

Devin White is still not reporting to OTAs, but that will not officially be a problem until he potentially holds out during mandatory minicamp next week. If he were to do that, he would begin to incur fines from the team, as true to the name, mandatory minicamp is not optional.
