Oregon Ducks, Oregon State Beavers football stay put in national rankings

Oregon’s fourth-quarter rally to beat Texas Tech Saturday night kept the Ducks undefeated through two games this season.

The 38-30 win in Lubbock also helped prevent Oregon from dropping in the polls.

The Ducks remain No. 13 in both The Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls released Sunday.

Every team ranked ahead of Oregon is undefeated with the exception of No. 10/10 Alabama (1-1), which lost to No. 4/6 Texas 34-24 Saturday.

The Pac-12 continued to impress voters. The Ducks are one of eight conference teams ranked in the AP poll and one of seven in the USA Today/Coaches poll.

That includes No. 5/5 Southern California, No. 8/8 Washington and No. 12/12 Utah.

Colorado is No. 18 in the AP poll and No. 21 in the USA Today/Coaches poll; UCLA is No. 24 in the AP poll and No. 25 in the USA Today Coaches poll; and Washington State is No. 23 in the AP poll and received the most votes of any team not ranked in the USA Today/Coaches poll.

The top three remain unchanged in both polls. Two-time national champion Georgia is No. 1, Michigan is No. 2 and Florida State is No. 3.
