Ole Miss football linebacker Khari Coleman 'removed from activities' for disciplinary reasons

OXFORD — Ole Miss football linebacker Khari Coleman has been "removed from activities," Rebels coach Lane Kiffin said after the team's scrimmage on Saturday.

Coleman was not dressed for the scrimmage and had been absent from the media viewing portion of team practice during the week.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound senior played in eight games at linebacker for Ole Miss last season, starting four of them. He transferred from TCU before the 2022 season.

He tied for the Ole Miss team lead with 10 tackles for loss, totaling 42 tackles on the season and registering 4.5 sacks.

"As you guys know, we handle discipline internally," Kiffin said. "We always collect all information and everything."

Transfers Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste and Monty Montgomery played the majority of the first-team linebacker snaps during the scrimmage on Saturday. Jean-Baptiste arrived from UCF, while Montgomery made the switch from Louisville.
