OHSAA high school boys soccer state finals | Revere comes up short against Tippecanoe

COLUMBUS — Tippecanoe won its second state title in program history Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Revere at Historic Columbus Crew Stadium.

It was the sixth time in seven tries the Minutemen (20-1-2) finished runners-up, joining the 1995, 2010, 2011, 2016 and 2018 teams.

Revere won it all in 2013.

The Red Devils (22-1-1) joined the 2019 team with a state crown.

Tippecanoe picked up a goal 9:30 into the game on a beautiful shot from 35 yards out by Landon Haas.

The dagger came when Caleb Ransom fed Colin Turner on a one-touch goal with 14:44 remaining.
