Ohio State vs. Indiana sets CBS Sports records as most-watched Week 1 game in 25 years
Ohio State's 2023 debut against Indiana set records for CBS this past weekend.
According to CBS Sports, the "Big Ten on CBS" game was the network's most-watched Week 1 game in 25 years, averaging 4.646 million viewers and peaking with 5.711 million viewers.

CBS Sports reported that the 2023 Ohio State vs. Indiana game, which ended in a 23-3 Buckeye win, had 39% more viewers than the same matchup last season.
Paramount +, according to CBS, recorded its most-streamed Week 1 game ever.

Sports TV Ratings reported that the season opener between the Buckeyes and the Hoosiers was the second-most watched college football game on Sept. 2 behind Colorado vs. TCU, beating North Carolina vs. South Carolina, which occupied the primetime slot on ABC.
Ohio State has two primetime games confirmed for the 2023 season: Sept. 23 against Notre Dame and Nov. 11 against Michigan State, both of which are on NBC.
Ohio State will take on Youngstown State at noon Saturday on Big Ten Network.
