Ohio State offers former Notre Dame defensive back signee

For reasons unknown at the moment, Notre Dame signee Brandyn Hillman was released from his letter of intent andOhio State is among a number of schools that are trying to get him to enroll with them.

The announcement made yesterday was a bit of a shock, but it seemed like the defensive back would be playing closer to his home state, Virginia. Hillman is now a national prospect who stands 6-foot, 1-inch, and weighing 190 pounds.

The Buckeyes didn’t show much interest during Hillman’s initial recruitment but that isn’t stopping them the second time around. He has also reported offers from LSU, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Wisconsin, and others since he announced his departure from Notre Dame.

We’ll keep on top of this recruitment as more becomes available.
