Ohio State Buckeyes will play five games on Peacock as Big Ten finalizes full schedule
If you’re a fan of Ohio State men’s basketball, you might want to get your streaming device ready and keep your remote control at the ready.
Tuesday morning, the Big Ten released the full television broadcast details and tip times for the 2023-24 season, which starts in 34 days. And as the league begins partnerships with multiple new networks and platforms, fans will have to keep on their toes to make sure they know where to watch the Buckeyes this season.
Ohio State’s 31-game schedule will be played across seven different platforms, two of which are digital-only, and an eighth broadcast option could present itself. The Big Ten Network will air the most games among the seven broadcast partners, televising 11 games including the regular-season finale at Rutgers on March 10 at 2 p.m. But among the other six broadcast partners, streaming-only option Peacock will have the most games on its schedule.
The Buckeyes will play five games on Peacock, and they’re all notable: a home date with Texas A&M on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m., a Jan. 23 game at Nebraska at 7 p.m., a Jan. 30 home game with Illinois at 7 p.m., a Feb. 6 home game with Indiana at 7 p.m. and a Feb. 13 game at Wisconsin at 9 p.m.
BTN+, the Big Ten’s streaming service, will air the season opener against Oakland on Nov. 6. Texas A&M is next on the schedule, meaning Ohio State’s first game on traditional television will be a Nov. 15 home game against Merrimack on BTN.

After BTN and Peacock, CBS will have four games, FOX, BTN+ and FS1 will have three each and the CBS Sports Network will air both games as part of the Emerald Coast Classic provided that the Buckeyes win their first game against Alabama.
Should the Crimson Tide win, Ohio State would play at 4 p.m. the next day in a game that would be streamed on FloSports.tv.
Ohio State’s Big Ten opener against Minnesota will tip at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, and be televised by BTN. Other notable tip times include a Saturday night date with Indiana as the Buckeyes play at Assembly Hall on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m., a Martin Luther King Jr. Day game at Michigan at noon on FOX and a Friday night game at Iowa on Feb. 2 (7 p.m., FS1).
The Buckeyes will not play on ESPN this season.
