Ohio high school football scores for Greater Akron/Summit County | Week 8 | See who won

The end of the high school football regular season is already in sight with Week 8 games tonight.

In the biggest game involving an Akron-area team Friday night, Archbishop Hoban will take on reigning Division IV state champion Glenville. The 7-0 Knights are fresh off a beatdown of previously undefeated Walsh Jesuit, and are eying another undefeated season.

Meanwhile, Nordonia and Hudson meet in a key game that will determine which team will stay in Suburban League National Conference title contention. The Knights are looking to bounce back after Wadsworth handed them their first loss a week ago.

On Saturday, East will travel to Buchtel for a noon game to decide the City Series champion.
