Want to get to know our winner a little better? Check out what Rylie had to say.

  • How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I’ve been playing softball since I was 4 ½ which means I've played for about 12 years. I started playing softball because both my parents both played softball and baseball and wanted me to get involved with a sport and learn accountability and leadership skills.

  • What do you like most about your sport: I honestly love the people that I meet through the sport, I have made so many amazing friends through the game. I also love the constant need for improvement, I play a game where perfection is never achieved and there’s always something to strive for.

  • Do you have a pregame ritual: I always pray with my teammates before games and I will write my stepdad's old jersey number in the dirt because he is a key reason why I still play this game and why I push so hard every day to get better.

  • What’s your most memorable sports moment: One of my most memorable sports moments was probably when I first started learning how to slap hit and I tried it in a game and it ended up scoring in the winning run of the game which won us the tournament.

  • If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: I don’t know who I would want to be.

  • Someone hands you $1 million, how would you spend it: I would probably spend some of it to pay for my college education and then save half of it. I would probably give some to my family.

  • Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world and why: If I could travel anywhere I would love to travel to Italy for the food and the beaches. I have always seen pictures and wanted to see it in person.

  • If you had an extra hour every day, how would you spend it: I would spend it reading and writing, I would journal and write stories and read books if I had the time.

  • What superpower do you wish you had: I wish I could read minds.

  • Favorite sports team: I am a San Francisco 49ers fan

  • Favorite athlete: Brock Purdy
