Will NY Yankees vs Mariners at Yankee Stadium be postponed today? Latest weather forecast

On the verge of their first three-game losing streak of the regular season, the Yankees bats broke out in a big way, led by Juan Soto clubbing two home runs in a game for the second time five games in their 7-3 win over the Mariners on Wednesday night.

The party didn't stop there as fellow outfielders, Aaron Judge and Alex Verdugo, also went deep in last night's contest.

If the Yankees are victorious this afternoon, they'll split the four-game series with Seattle and maintain their division lead over the Orioles in the American League.

However, weather might ultimately be a factor this afternoon in the Bronx.

Here's the forecast for the Yankees and Mariners series finale today at Yankee Stadium:

NY Yankees vs. Mariners weather forecast, temperature for Thursday's game

With first pitch rapidly approaching, fans heading to the game can expect to stay dry after thunderstorms loomed over the area earlier this morning with the tarp on the infield.

Per weather.com, there's now a 16 percent or less chance of showers up until 3 p.m.

The temperature will be very comfortable as well, ranging from the low-to-mid 70s throughout today's game in the Bronx.

While there's still a small chance of thunderstorms over the next few hours, it seems as if those heading to the game will not have to worry about weather being a huge factor today.

In the series finale, it'll be a pitching matchup between the Yankees' Luis Gil -- who's coming off a record breaking start his last time out -- and Mariners' ace Luis Castillo, making his sixth career start versus the Bronx Bombers.
