NY Giants schedule 2024: Everything to know after NFL's official reveal
Brian Daboll’s third season as head coach of the New York Giants will begin by hosting the team against whom they experienced their greatest high of his tenure two years ago.
The Minnesota Vikings will visit MetLife Stadium for a 1 p.m. start on Sunday, Sept. 8, kicking off the Giants' 100th season celebration against the opponent Daniel Jones played the best game of his career in a 2023 playoff victory.
The Giants' schedule for the 2024 season was officially revealed by the NFL on Wednesday night.
Toughest stretch
The Giants will play three of their next four games on the road following their season opener, including their first NFC East tilt at Washington before facing playoff teams in the Browns, a short week at home against the Cowboys and then the longest domestic trip of the 2024 campaign at Seattle.
Under the bright lights
The Giants will play three games in prime time (Sunday night vs. Cincinnati, Monday night at Pittsburgh and Thursday night vs. Dallas) and two additional games in exclusive windows (in Germany against the Panthers and on Thanksgiving at Dallas).

Some other highlights from the Giants’ 2024 slate
*The Giants will play eight games against 2023 playoff teams: Philadelphia and Dallas twice apiece and one each against Tampa Bay, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland.
*The Giants will play five teams with new head coaches: Washington (Dan Quinn), Seattle (Mike Macdonald), Atlanta (Raheem Morris), and Carolina (Dave Canales).
*The Giants will play against several players from their 2023 team, including running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Parris Campbell (Philadelphia), guard Ben Bredeson (Tampa Bay) and defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson (Carolina).
*The Giants will play two Thursday games in the same season for the fourth time in their history; the other seasons were 1936, 1939, and 1937, when they lost their opener to Washington and tied the Brooklyn Dodgers, both on the road. They have lost their last eight games played on Thursday, and their last Thursday victory was on a 32-21 decision over Washington on Sept. 24, 2015.
*This will mark the fourth trip overseas for a game for Big Blue. The game will be played at Allianz Arena, which is the home stadium of FC Bayern Munich. The Giants are 3-0 since they played in the first London game during the 2007 season at Wembley Stadium. They also played in the UK in 2016, defeating the Rams, and most recently in 2022 when they defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at the home of Tottingham Hotspur F.C.
