Novak Djokovic produced a stunning comeback from two sets down to beat Jannik Sinner and keep his Wimbledon defence alive.
Djokovic was facing the prospect of a first defeat at Wimbledon since 2017 when the 20-year-old Sinner stormed into a deserved lead on Centre Court.
But the six-time Wimbledon champion found cleaner hitting from the baseline and took advantage of some nervy moments from the Italian to hit back.
Djokovic was emphatic in grinding down Sinner’s serve and stormed to the 5-7 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-2 in three hours and 25 minutes.
