Notre Dame Football offers 5-star 2025 Florida athlete

The ink is still wet on the 2023 recruiting class and it’s almost a whole year away from the early signing period for the 2024 class but Marcus Freeman isn’t resting on his laurels.

The Notre Dame head coach and his staff have been going over prospects that they want and have identified 2025 Floridian Jaime Ffrench Jr. as one they are trying to lure North and play in South Bend. Today, Freeman and wide receivers coach Chansi Stuckey made a verbal offer to Ffrench Jr. joining the likes of AlabamaFloridaMiami (FL)GeorgiaOhio StatePenn State and a host of others trying to impress the rising junior.

Most likely Ffrench Jr. ends up as a wide receiver, but his six-foot-one-inch and 175-pound frame could see him landing as a defensive back as well. The next step would be for Ffrench Jr. to make a visit, as he has already been to Florida StateTexas A&MPittsburgh (where his brother Maurice played) and a few others.

Time will tell if the Irish are true competitors for one of the best players in the country in his class, but offering early is a good sign that both parties are interested.
