Notre Dame doubles up Florida offers today, this time a 2024 cornerback

The Irish are hitting Florida hard today, as earlier they offered a scholarship to 2025 athlete Jaime Ffrench Jr. That wasn’t the only Sunshine State prospect that got an offer from Marcus Freeman and his staff today.

Jon Mitchell, a class of 2024 cornerback received an offer from Freeman and defensive backs coach Chris O’Leary. The six-foot and 160-pound cornerback doesn’t quite have the offer list of Ffrench Jr. but a still solid, growing list that includes MichiganMichigan StatePenn State and a few others.

Football runs in the Mitchell family as his brother Nic plays for mississippi state and brother Kris plays for Florida International. Safe to say the family is an athletic one and the youngest might end up being the best.

At the current moment, the Irish have a fantastic start to their 2024 recruiting class, with seven total commitments led by quarterback CJ Carr and wide receiver Cam Williams.
