NL Wild Card standings, odds, schedule: DBacks, Reds, Marlins or Giants make MLB Playoffs?
While a lot is still left to be decided in the American League and National League Major League Baseball Playoff races, one particular race for the MLB postseason has really caught our attention: The race for the final NL Wild Card berth.
Entering games on Sunday, Sept. 10, four teams are within 3 games of each other for that sixth and final spot in the 2023 NL postseason: The Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, Miami Marlins and San Francisco Giants.
Which team will earn that final MLB postseason berth?
Take a look at the current NL Wild Card standings, odds and upcoming schedule to get an idea of which team could land that final spot in the 2023 MLB Playoffs.
We're assuming that the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers, who have commanding leads in their divisions, will earn the top two seeds in the National League postseason, and the Philadelphia Phillies appear to have a hold on the first Wild Card berth in the league.
The Milwaukee Brewers are currently in good shape to win their division and land the No. 3 seed in the NL postseason, while the Chicago Cubs currently have a 1-game lead for the second Wild Card spot, leaving the four aforementioned clubs fighting for one final berth in the postseason in the National League.
