Nine West Morgan players sign to play in college
Feb. 20—It was a special day at West Morgan High School Tuesday as nine Rebel football players signed to play college football.
Walker Letson (Birmingham Southern), ShaMarvion Mosley (Faulker University), JaMaury Burgess (Monmouth College), Ti'Arrius Mosley (Jacksonville State University), Ashton Garland (Mississippi Prep), Jeremy Strong (Mississippi Prep), Wes Bradford (Illinois College), Harrison Johnson (Huntington College) and Jalen Fletcher (University of North Alabama) are all headed to play at the next level.
The signings come on the heels of the best season in West Morgan football history. The Rebels finished 12-1, including 10-0 in the regular season for the first time, won Class 4A, Region 7 and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
