A nine goal game and more: Vote for the Cape Cod Girls Lacrosse Player of the Week

Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which girls lacrosse players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Wednesday through Tuesday. The winner will be announced on Wednesday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Umbrello is the first girls lacrosse winner of the season with 38% of the votes. She had three goals and two assists as the Lions beat Sturgis East 15-2.

Ariana Andrade, Mashpee

Andrade recorded three goals and four assists in a 14-5 win over Bourne.

Ciara Hendricks, Mashpee

Hendricks scored nine goals and dished out two assists in a 16-14 win over East Bridgewater.

Kipperman had six goals in a 14-12 win over Cape Cod Academy.

Lower scored seven goals, dished out four assists, and had six draw controls in 17-5 win over Barnstable.

Faye McGuire, Falmouth Academy

Faye McGuire scored six goals in a loss to D-Y.

Sophia Morin, Mashpee

Morin had five goals and two assists in a victory over East Bridgewater.

Emerson Pekarcik, Nantucket

Pekarcik scored six goals, had four assists, and added three draw controls in a win over Barnstable.

Olivia Powers, Cape Cod Academy

Powers had five goals and four ground balls for Cape Cod Academy in a 11-5 win over Barnstable.

Reeves scored six goals for the Warriors in a win over Dennis-Yarmouth.
