Class of 2025 guard Davion Hannah will be leaving Wisconsin to suit up for his third program in three years, as his transfer to AZ Compass Prep School was announced Monday.

Hannah played a large role in leading Milwaukee Academy of Science to what was then the program's first WIAA state appearance in the 2021-2022 season. He averaged the team's third-best scoring total of 13.6 ppg, behind teammates Tayshawn Bridges (18.8 ppg) and Nacir Beamon (15.3 ppg). Following that season, Bridges and Beamon transferred to different Arizona prep academies over the summer. Hannah would also transfer from MAS last summer, but stayed local as he moved to Nicolet.

The 6-foot-5 guard emerged as the top scoring threat for the Knights this past winter, averaging 19.9 ppg while leading the team with 9.8 rpg as well. Nicolet reached the WIAA Division 2 state tournament, falling to eventual D2 champion Pewaukee in a 58-56 semifinal loss.

Hannah reports NCAA Division I offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Bradley, Cincinnati, LSU, Marquette, Mississippi State, Oregon and Wisconsin. Both ESPN and 247Sports have Hannah listed as a four-star recruit, with ESPN currently ranking him 33rd and 247Sports naming him the 34th best recruit nationwide in the class of 2025.

AZ Compass touts alumni that have gone on to NBA success including Atlanta Hawks guard TyTy Washington and Portland Trailblazers forward Jabari Walker.
