Nick Sirianni on the Philadelphia Eagles QB situation

Nick Sirianni will be introduced to the local and national media on Friday during a noon zoom press conference, but he made his first comments as the head coach while sitting down with Eagles Insider, Dave Spadaro.

Sirianni looked confident and excited when talking about the history and culture of the organization.

Spadaro came with the heat, asking Sirianni the question about his looming quarterback decision.

Staying on code, Sirianni complimented both Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts, while admitting he’ll continue to go through the evaluation process.

“I feel great, you look at a lot of rosters and they don’t have any quarterbacks that they feel good about, but we have two.”

“We have two guys that have played and that have played well.”

“I couldn’t have watched more tape on Carson Wentz in 2018 when Frank and I got back together, we watched a lot of his tape from 2017.”

Sirianni admitted that both quarterbacks were discussed during the interview process with Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman, but he gave no early indication about which way he’ll be leaning.
