(Adds later games) Nov 4 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights from National Hockey League games on Wednesday: - - - - Blues 6, Blackhawks 5 (overtime) Vladimir Tarasenko scored in overtime to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 6-5 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Tarasenko's wrist shot with 1:06 remaining in the extra session capped a four-goal comeback by the Blues. Alexander Steen scored twice, and Robby Fabbri, Jay Bouwmeester and David Backes also netted for St. Louis (9-3-1). - - Jets 4, Maple Leafs 2 Alexander Burmistrov scored late in the third period to give the Winnipeg Jets a 4-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Jets added a short-handed goal at 19:34 of the third from Bryan Little. Dustin Byfuglien and Mark Scheifele also scored for the Jets (8-4-1). Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau and Leo Komarov scored for the Maple Leafs (2-8-2). - - Penguins 3, Canucks 2 David Perron scored his first goal of the season and Phil Kessel collected two assists as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Vancouver Canucks 3-2. Sidney Crosby scored his second goal of the season on a power play for the Penguins, who won their fifth consecutive game. Eric Fehr also added a short-handed goal for Pittsburgh (8-4-0). - - Ducks 3, Panthers 2 (shootout) Corey Perry scored his first goal of the season with five seconds to play, and the Anaheim Ducks earned a 3-2 shootout win over the Florida Panthers at the Honda Center. Perry scored on a power play 35 seconds after Panthers defenseman Brian Campbell received a penalty for high sticking.
