NFL Scouting Combine 2024: Schedule and how to watch Texas football prospects

The 2024 NFL draft is fast approaching, and one event that will affect how players are projected to be taken in said draft is the NFL scouting combine.

A record 11 Texas players will be in attendance with an opportunity to show off their physical and mental capabilities to teams looking to bolster their roster. Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana will once again host the promising young athletes as they look to bolster their stock.

Which college football players will impress, and which will raise concern? Here's everything we know about the upcoming event.

When is NFL combine?

It began February 26 and ends on March 4 at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis.

How to watch NFL combine

Onfield drills start on Thursday, February 29. The combine will be covered and televised live on NFL Network.

Thursday, Feb. 29: Defensive line and linebackers, 2 p.m. CT

  • Texas football players: LB Jaylan Ford, DT T'Vondre Sweat, DT Byron Murphy II

Friday, March 1: Defensive backs and tight ends, 2 p.m. CT

  • Texas football players: DB Ryan Watts, TE Ja'Tavion Sanders

Saturday, March 2: Running backs, quarterbacks, wide receivers, 12 p.m. CT

  • Texas football players: WR Adonai Mitchell, WR Xavier Worthy, WR Jordan Whittington, RB Keilan Robinson, RB Jonathon Brooks (will not participate in drills)

Sunday, March 3: Offensive line, 12 p.m. CT

  • Texas football players: OL Christian Jones
