The latest
Georgia Tech and Kentucky seem like a loose top two for Smith, so early in the process, VT is already starting from behind. However, another school he'd like to try to visit this Summer is Virginia... and with the Hokies now in the mix as well, it probably makes sense to turn that into a double-dip if he has any interest in VT at all. It remains to be seen whether he'll schedule a specific date for that trip or end up failing to take it, but if he does, VT should be able to show him a combination of education and football that not a whole lot of his other suitors can match.
