Stoudemire to miss 2-3 weeks after ruptured cyst in knee
New York Knicks power forward Amare Stoudemire reportedly will miss the start of the season with a ruptured cyst in his knee.
The Knicks will be without Stoudemire for 2-3 weeks, according to New York Newsday.
The injury added to a tumultuous offseason that included is offseason recovery from a hand injury he suffered while punching a fire extinguisher case during last April's playoffs, a gay offensive tweet that cost him a $50,000 fine from the league and a bruised that kept him out of the first preseason game.
