Starting Pitcher Shuffle Up: Max Scherzer shows the way

You’ll have to season the prices to taste. The numbers don’t matter in a vacuum; what matters is how the player prices relate to one another. Assume a 5×5 scoring system, as always. Everyone listed here has starting pitcher eligibility in the Yahoo game entering 2018. Players at the same cost are considered even.

Just the prices for now. Comments will be added on the weekend. Check status on the asterisk players; I am not going to argue the merits of the injured (especially when it comes to injured pitchers). They’re worth whatever you want them to be.

Note: Shortly after this initial posting, the Madison Bumgarner injury news broke. I’ve removed the lefty from the ranks for now, and will re-evaluate when more information is available. If I were drafting tonight, unless the price were silly low, I’d just let someone else have Bumgarner. That’s how I generally handle long-term injuries.
