Report: Reliever Lowe signs with Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers signed relief pitcher Mark Lowe to a one-year contract, ESPN.com reported Friday.
Lowe received a minor-league contract worth $1.5 million plus the chance to earn an additional $600,000 in incentives for making the Dodgers' roster.
The 29-year-old right-hander pitched in 36 games last season for the Texas Rangers and went 0-2 with an 3.43 ERA.
Injuries have limited Lowe's innings since he joined the Rangers in 2010 after four seasons with Seattle.
