Report: Jets' Revis will get second opinion

New Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis will get a second opinion on what appears to be a season-ending knee injury, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday.

The Jets encourage players to get a second opinion for major injuries, according to the Daily News report, but it is unlikely to alter the original diagnosis of a torn anterior-cruciate ligament suffered in Sunday's game.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan announced during his Monday press conference that Revis, a three-time All-Pro, had a torn ACL that would require surgery.
