Donald Trump’s recent travel ban has received a great deal of criticism in recent days, and the sporting world has been no exception to those speaking out against the executive order.

Players and coaches around the NBA have been particularly outspoken on the issue, and on Monday two of the top voices in basketball north of the border got involved.

Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry minced precisely zero words when reporters asked for his take on Trump’s edict:

According to Josh Lewenberg of TSN, Lowry was asked if he wanted to answer again without cursing and declined saying, “Y’all gotta bleep that out. That’s how I feel about it.”

Raptors president Masai Ujiri – a native of Zaria, Nigeria – had a similar distaste for the travel ban:

Ujiri speaks from a position of authority on immigration as a person who has worked his way from an unpaid scout with the Orlando Magic to the first non-American NBA Executive of the Year since leaving Nigeria in 2002.
