Kentucky and Seton Hall trade crazy last-second shots to force overtime at Madison Square Garden
Kentucky and Seton Hall saved their best for one basketball’s biggest stages. While at Madison Square Garden, both teams traded crazy last-second shots to force overtime in what turned out to be a crazy game.
The back-and-forth started with just over seven seconds left in the contest. With the game tied 67-67, Myles Powell drained a clutch 3-pointer to put Seton Hall ahead with just 1.1 left to play.

Seton Hall’s elation didn’t last much longer. Kentucky’s Keldon Johnson caught an inbounds pass at about half court, turned around and fired up a last-second shot. Somehow, it went in, forcing overtime.

Seton Hall wasn’t shaken by that last-second effort. In overtime, the team pulled out a narrow 84-83 win. The game’s winning shot came on a clutch 3-pointer from Myles Cale with about 10 seconds to play.

The win pushes Seton Hall to 6-3 on the season. With the loss, Kentucky drops to 7-2.
