Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick Get Happy in Latest 'Trolls' Trailer
It’s been months since Justin Timberlake stuck his Trolls theme song “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” into Americans’ collective heads. Now, DreamWorks’ upcoming animated movie has released another tune-filled trailer in advance of its debut. Watch it above.
As explained in this nearly three-minute-long trailer by Timberlake and co-star Anna Kendrick — who voice the film’s two main characters — Trolls will deliver “a story about happiness” in which the colorful, diminutive creatures will fight back against their enemies, the pessimistic Bergens, by using the power of song. So if “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” is not your kind of pop ditty, then this may not be the film for you. But if you still love that tune? Then mark Nov. 4 down in your calendar, because that’s when Trolls shimmies its way into theaters.
Also featuring the voices of Russell Brand, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Ron Funches, Icona Pop and Gwen Stefani — and featuring more songs from Timberlake, including a cover of “True Colors” that’s central to this trailer — Trolls could be one of the holiday season’s bigger hits.
