Ball Don't Lie - NBA

It's been a whopping two seasons since the Minnesota Timberwolves started wearing their most recent uniforms. Way back then Skeets' girlfriend called the jerseys "horribly bland," "cartoon-ish," and "much too boring." Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Almost immediately after the new unis' release it was time for an upgrade.

Now, two years later, the T-Wolves are answering that call. Here are their new duds:

Pretty nice little tweaks, even if they still seem to be having some troubles with the necklines. Get that silver out of there, geez.

Losing the green trees that were all over the place is a definite improvement, even if it makes these look more generic than they used to. As we've seen with the new Hawks jerseys, sometimes generic is better than trendy. Nonetheless, it's hard to go wrong with simple colors and clean designs. Plus, you can still see the trees on the side panels of the shorts, so that's a nice compromise.

However, I'm a little sad to see the font change for the numbers, since those had been around for a long, long time. Of course, I'm sure the 1990s-ness of those pointy letters is a lot of the reason they're gone, but it's still sad to see the last vestiges of the Kevin Garnett(notes) era in Minnesota be scrubbed from the team's uniforms.

But it's not all about me. Let us know what you think in the comments. Good? Bad? Blah? We want to hear.
