NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors extending win streak to five with win vs. Trail Blazers

After losing three straight earlier in the month, the Golden State Warriors are officially streaking to end December. On the second leg of a home back-to-back, the Warriors cruised to a 126-106 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night to bump their stretch of consecutive wins to five straight, matching their season-long win streak.

The Splash Brothers combined for 55 points to put the Trail Blazers away and help the Warriors move to a game over .500 for the first time since Nov. 12. Klay Thompson led all scorers with 28 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the field with six made 3-pointers. Curry tacked on 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field.

Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis continued to impress with another double-figure scoring performance, registering 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor to go along with five rebounds and three assists in 17 minutes off the bench.

Before the Warriors ride their five-game winning streak into a Christmas Day clash with the defending champion Denver Nuggets, here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Twitter about the Warriors’ win over the Trail Blazers on Saturday night.
