NBA Playoffs: Former Warrior Kevin Durant scores 28 points in Nets’ game 4 loss vs. Bucks, 107-96
With the Golden State Warriors punching an early ticket to the offseason after a pair of losses in the Western Conference play-in tournament, Warriors Wire is checking in on former members of Golden State across the 2021 edition of the NBA postseason.
In the second round of the playoffs, Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant leads a featured group of former Warriors trying to get back to the NBA Finals with new teams. Former Warriors DeMarcus Cousins and JaVale McGee are also still in action during the 2021 playoffs.
Here is a look at how Durant performed during game four between the No. 2 seed Brooklyn Nets and No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks.
Eastern Conference Round 2, Game 3: Nets at Bucks (2-1):
After notching their first win in a low-scoring contest in game three, the Milwaukee Bucks had the opportunity to even the series against the Brooklyn Nets at home in game four before going back to New York.
Giannis Antetokounmpo stayed hot in game four, scoring 34 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the floor with 12 boards and three assists in 38 minutes. Former Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant tried to stay pace with Antetokounmpo, scoring 28 points on 9-of-25 shooting from the floor with 13 rebounds and five assists in 42 minutes.
Yet with Kyrie Irving leaving the game with an ankle injury after 17 minutes and James Harden already ruled out for the contest, the Nets couldn’t keep up with the Bucks’ attack.
Following Antetokounmpo, four other members of the Bucks tallied double-figure scoring performances to tie the series with a game four win for Milwaukee, 107-96.

The series will now head back to Brooklyn even at 2-2. Game five is set for Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. PT.
