NBA conference finals drip check: Jayson Tatum, Nikola Jokic dress to impress

The NBA playoffs have been nothing short of exciting.

The Western and Eastern Conference Finals had opposite outcomes en route to deciding the Finals opponents. The Denver Nuggets swept LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers to advance to their first Finals appearance in franchise history. The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics took their competition to Game 7 where the Heat outlasted a historic comeback from the Celtics.

Players from each of the four teams not only brought their skills on the court, but they showed up game day ready off of it as the NBA continues to establish itself as a center of fashion.

Here is the NBA conference finals drip check:

7. Aaron Gordon — Western Conference Finals Game 1

Aaron Gordon opened up the Western Conference Finals with a statement. He outshined the fashion-forward Los Angeles Lakers with a gray suit that featured a cargo jacket and a tie around the waist. He accessorized it with Louboutin dress shoes, a single chain and Hollywood shades.

6. Jimmy Butler — Eastern Conference Finals Game 1

Jimmy Butler was true to himself with his game day outfits. While plenty of players wore hoodies throughout the conference finals, he stood out in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals with this oversized hoodie from Big Face, which isn't a fashion label, but actually his very own coffee brand. He wore other products from his apparel line throughout the series, but this hoodie was the most head-turning look.

5. LeBron James, Anthony Davis — Western Conference Finals Game 3

Usually wearing the same outfit is a big fashion no-no. But LeBron James and Anthony Davis looked fly together as they both wore similar — but not exactly the same — shirts from Jil Sander. James donned a gray longsleeve button-up with khaki pants and white low-top Nike Air Force 1s, while Davis opted for a blue ombre shortsleeve shirt with darker pants and blue Air Force 1s.

Honorable Mention: Lonnie Walker IV wore a sharp white Givenchy jacket and jeans from Who Decides War.

4. Nikola Jokic — Western Conference Finals Game 2

Nikola Jokic's fashion is classy and cool. It's why he was on our NBA All-Star game drip check with a houndstooth suit. He showed up to Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals with this nicely tailored gray suit and a sharp newsboy cap. The "Peaky Blinders" comments abounded.

3. Caleb Martin — Eastern Conference Finals Game 7

Caleb Martin has made his name known throughout the Eastern Conference Finals and he showed up to Game 7 in a graphic jacket and shades that were strictly business.

2. Jayson Tatum — Eastern Conference Finals Game 3

Jayson Tatum was ready for a Miami Beach getaway for Game 3 in this all-white fit. He paired a jacket with gold buttons with breezy pants and a white tank top. There was even a brooch for an extra touch of drip.

1. Marcus Smart, Robert Williams III — Eastern Conference Finals Game 1, 2

Yes, we're breaking the matching rule even more here, but these looks are just so great.

Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III wore their hearts on their jacket as the Boston Celtics entered their second straight conference finals. They both wore a white jacket from a collaboration between Fly Geenius and Vanson Leathers that had a design imitating a skeleton and a pop of green. Smart, who impressed with various sets throughout the series, wore all black underneath for Game 1 to let the jacket be the statement piece while Williams III made it more of a team look in Game 2 with a T-shirt paying homage to the late Bill Russell.

It doesn't get much better than that.
